Hi earthlings,

this is my entrance for a learning competition on GA, the topic was "extraterrestric remains"

You can see the sunken city Anticôs, which was built by an alien race's pioneers a long time ago in the jungle of Venezuela...

Maybe you know Jimmy Angel's Story; he was the man who discovered Salto del Angel, the highest waterfall in the world (about 1km high!).
I tried to rebuild his plane, a Ryan Flamingo - as far as I know, there's just one left; I used photos of it to model the old plane.
This pic is some sort of a hommage to him, to his sensational discovery.


The picture shows the moment of Anticôs' discovery by Jimmy Angel.

The photo was a bit blurred, so I had to blur the city and plane; due to this the compositing is not so sharp.
So it is a COMPOSITING, made with C4D 9.5 XL and Photoshop 6.


I set the plane into another scene, again a compositing:



My concept for the buildings' modeling was to create some sort of plant-shaped towers, to create a unique "alien" style.
